Our Philosophy

"The Donkeys farm" is the story of a family home in the heart of the Limousin, a country of hills, forests and large lakes on the foothills of the Millevaches plateau.

Christophe’s great-grandfather settled there in the early 1920s and since then, each generation maintains and valorizes in its own way the 25 hectares of woods and meadows along the river. Since 1999, we have been raising hiking donkeys: when you arrive, they reach out and get to know each other for a few caresses. Every morning you can choose to take a walk with them. Olivier will make the presentations because he knows his animals on the tip of his fingers: Lupin the naughty, Domino the cuddly, Fol'Avoine the greedy...

«Be zen...» This is our mantra when we welcome you for a getaway to the Donkeys farm. Our wish: that your discovery is synonymous with tranquility and healing... With the beautiful nature that surrounds us, it’s rather easy!
We love our region and our animals deeply and nothing makes us happier than to share with you the best of our life in the countryside.
