Our Philosophy

The Domaine is located in Wattwiller, in the Haut-Rhin, at the crossroads between the Wine Road ( Route des vins) and the Ridge Road ( Route des crêtes), 40 minutes from the Basel-Mulhouse International Airport, 10 minutes from the Cernay Train Station and close to major highways. Le Domaine du Hirtz welcomes you 350 days a year on an 8-acre plot in a charming and preserved setting.

The Domaine du Hirtz, the first ecotourism accommodation in Alsace is located 550-m above sea level in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges in the Hirtzenstein forest. Various services are on offer, from accommodation in lodges and studio apartments to dining experiences at the Auberge du Hirtz but also relaxing moments at the Spa Nordique. You can also enjoy an entertainment programme for young and old in keeping with the seasons and celebrations.
